Thought I’d already found all the sailing podcasts worth listening to, but I was wrong. One episode in and it’s some of the most valuable educational content I’ve come across to date. Thanks!

As a new skipper, I appreciate the insightful comments that allow text book knowledge, real world practise, and modern seamanship to coalesce in a reasonable and practical way. As far as I’m concerned the more practical and nitty-gritty the better! Thanks!

Are you comparing a Hollywood movie to a real life vessel emergency situation? Did I mis hear ? Surely not.. the movie is a drawn out fabrication of poor skills applied to an otherwise pretty quick demise..

Listening to this podcast ought to be counted as sea time. How a series of small things can add up to disaster is unpacked in a logical and easy to understand way. I’m probably going to avoid many mishaps as a result of this podcast.

I am refitting a 1973 Tartan 34Classic. I have been listening to every podcast about sailing out there. This is the best, profession, extremely detailed, and educational. I’m so grateful. I am particularly enjoying the section oh safety at sea.

Great podcast, you mentioned a logbook with 30 check points that you could buy, where can I get this?

I believe I was the source of “B” boat, which is a source of pride 🤗. I guess if u asked a 6 yr old to name something about sailing beginning with b,...Read full review »

This podcast was exceptional and just chockablock with incredibly useful information. Chris’s high-energy delivery made it a blast to listen to on what would have otherwise been a long, mind numbing car ride. Rushing out to buy a pair of kitchen sheers and actively thinking of better ways to...Read full review »

Very inspiring stories, told openly and humbly, of an incredible adventure. I enjoy the meanderings into side topics that I can relate to. Keep them coming Chris!

Always very interesting to listing to Chris telling about his offshore adventures. Can also recommend you watch his YouTube channel “the Mariner” which is a good mix of practical stuff and experiences from his Single-handed adventures
