“This podcast is a real pleasure to listen to. He explains everything extremely well and doesn't rush through the information. I especially liked the "Old Money: The Uluburun and Gelidonya Wrecks" episode, it gives you a real sense of how the martime trading worked. He also has several supplemental episodes, of which " The Periplus of the Erythraean Sea" is my favorite - this is the actual text of a manuscript the mariners would take with them to guide them when sailing from one port to another.
