“Mark does such a terrific job communicating unapologetic TRUTH.... with a healthy dose of "tough humor" that might sometimes seem harsh to our modern "sensitivities." 🤭 I imagine John the Baptist or Elijah as being cut from a similar cloth. (or even Jesus with the Pharisees!) His genuine heart of passion for Jesus Christ above all is on point, however, and he takes God/His Word seriously with NO room for apathy nor wimpy "niceness" nor smarmy capitulation. Phew! Thank God! I find this strength of spirit and passion refreshing in a Christian subculture FILLED with soft men who preach from pansy hearts that seem concerned with "being nice" and not offending the world more than offending the Word, Jesus. He's not perfect, and he may need to keep repenting for his "behind the scenes" faults just like the rest of us, but it sure seems we NEED more tenacious, Jesus-loving, uncompromising MEN like Mark standing strong in our pulpits for such a time as this.
