Stellar
I haven't been able to find out what Daryl Cooper's educational background is, but his telling of this "greatest conflict of the modern era" is unrivaled in terms of non-academic coverage of the Israeli/Palestinian situation. Mr. Cooper gives us not only the historical details but adds his own apt interpretation of the emotions and motives behind the actions of mere mortals. Presented in the famed 'Dan Carlin' macro style where one podcast can take you on an hours long journey, this is top notch in my book, and I'm a devourer of all things historical podcast. I also happen to have blood relatives in both Israel and the Occupied Territories and I can tell from first hand experience that Mr. Cooper has done his research, not just on the facts but also on the intangible sentiments that have created the current debacle. Love it! Well done.Read full review »

Ive been looking for an easily accessible unbiased history of this conflict. This podcast does a great job of showing both sides of the story. It blew my mind. Growing up as a jew in america i never heard most of the story. I have a much different outlook on the history of the conflict now.

This is a well crafted and thoughtful podcast that weaves together the narrative, nuances and analysis that is necessary to understand the current Palestinian-Israeli conflict. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning how this current conflict developed.
