“I think the most annoying thing about this podcast is Tucker Max' enormous ego. He loves to put other guys down, put his audience down, and basically tell everyone how great he is. Even when he has his friends or people he likes on the show, he'll do subtle digs or backhanded compliments. For example, he had Jordan Harbinger (who's been a running the Art of Charm for 10 years, and he's one of the few guys that Tucker actually likes) on the show and Tucker said, "I know Jordan actually cares, like he cares about the right things and he’s trying to do the right things. You can argue over whether he’s effective sometimes. That’s a different discussion, though. Like is it good is a different discussion from like is this person scamming me." (Notice the backhanded compliment? He's saying that Jordan isn't a scamming men, but he's suggesting that Jordan isn't giving good advice.) I think the words "I think I'm so much better than everybody else" runs through Tucker Max' mind continuously. I would hate to be Tucker's friend because I know he'd always find subtle ways to put his friends down and make sure everybody (especially his friends) knows that he's the undisputed alpha male of the group. I'd write a much longer review, but none of my past (longer) reviews of this podcast have shown up.”Read full review »
