“Chris Lester's Metamor City Podcast is obviously an intense labor of love. I just really started to listen to this 'cast in April '09 and little over a year after the show's initial debut. That's not a bad way to start since there are dozens of back episodes to keep a listener busy. The short stories by various guest authors are a lot of fun and the most of the voice acting is pretty decent with a few problems here and there but the people voicing characters in this podcasts are not professional actors but fellow podcast talent with a lot of enthusiam that makes up for most of that. I like the action and the plotting. The character development is coming along well. The only place where Metamor's stories seem to lag any are during the emotional and romantic scenes. The music gets a little fluffy and formulaic dialogue that makes me cringe inside a little seem to be what's wrong there. That's a small problem given that this is quality storytelling and the content is of course..free!”Read full review »

“I must say that this podcast far outstrips that of P.G. Holyfield. The story line is much better, the characters are more interesting, the culture of the civilization is explored at greater depths, oh, and Holyfield's voice is just irritating.”Read full review »
