Bad move on the new update guy
When they made a change and brought the new update guy in it was terrible move in my personal opinion. When he doesn't do updates and they give him the chance to give his views he comes across as a amateur at best. I enjoy listening to the show and since I am in NY I can also watch it via the msg network and I really enjoy it, it definitely is a great listen. This review would not be done honestly if I didn't tell exactly how I feel. The only problem with the show is it's not even the best show at its time slot in NYC metro area. Almost anywhere else in the country he would be the best but Mike Francesca even without a partner which hurts the show is better. Unlike Francesca Michael Kay whom I never met comes across as a gentleman. I know it wouldn't happen but the Mike Francesca show is not as nearly as good with him doing it solo. How about the 2 mike's together that would make for a an excellent listen. I would never call a talk show but if I did, I would call up Michael Kay's show. The reason I would call him is much more important then who is better Kay or Francesca. The reason is very dear to me, because as a 21 yr old kid working on my first job behind the scenes on a movie called "Fort Apace the Bronx" Mike, if you are reading this, I don't need to tell you that your uncle Danny Aiello is not only a great actor which all you need to know this to be a fact, is watch the movies he has done, but more importantly he is even a better human being. He treated me like a NYC neighborhood friend. I've done countless films since then and Danny Aiello you were by far the most down to earth actor (person) whom I've come across in this film industry. It's sad cause I took many pics with him & other actors & behind scene people which I would of cherished for the rest of my life; that is how much of an impact Danny Aiello had on me, but unfortunately somebody told me I could get those pics developed for you by the next day -30 yrs later, I still don't have them -the person who told me he can get them devolved by the next day, messed up & ruined all the pics. The pics also included Paul Newman who was very nice considering how big of a star he was,but most of the pics were with Danny Aiello & myself at times & many others joking around, which he did quite a bit. Remember the technology was a little different 30 + yrs ago. Sadly, I also got to know his 2 sons who were always on set. They both made an impression on me as well. It saddened me to learn that one of them passed away so young. My condolences goes out to his father Danny Aiello and also to his cousin Michael Kay. Maybe one day I will actually call his show, and tell him myself or if I ever get back on Twitter I will definitely sent him a message because I am still touched by the way Mr. Danny Aiello not only treated me but everybody on the set of the first movie I not only worked on, but also the first film I ever seen made. 30 + years later I am still annoyed that my coworker messed up on all those pics that were with Danny Aiello and others all just having a good time joking around on the set of my first movie " Fort Apace the Bronx"Read full review »

More reviews of The Michael Kay Show
I'm overseas in Mumbai India for a few years and these podcasts bring a little bit of home to me. Traffic is nightmarish here, but when I've been able to catch up on NY sports with Michael and the gang during my ride home, the ride goes much quicker. Keep the episodes coming - especially...Read full review »

I listen everyday. Makes me smile and happy. Love these 3 and the 2 in the booth. The chemistry is great and the inside jokes make you never want to miss a day. It’s relaxing and funny.
