Mr
Thanks Michael for the information you share. I like the fact that you don't act like you are smarter than than average people (which you probably are anyway) and do not promise the moon. Your podcast has been enlighting: for instance, I consider myself very educated and even in my industry, I have done a lot of extra-training/curiuclum/diploma; yet, this need for self education that you reiterate seems to be a real thing. You do not badmouth university education either but it appears that you are right: when I look around, I see some people like me who have spent 10. 11 sometimes 12 years at university, doing well in life, not worrying about the money, but certainly not doing amazingly well. Then if I look at the ones who are really successfull in business or investment, they are indeed the ones who have taught themselves on the field, through mentorship and even have failed few times before meeting success! I never realised that before and always thought that aiming at jobs with better incomes was the only way. I also really liked your talk on bias and why we make poor choices: being a scientist I really appreciated the fact that you related on science somehow to explain most of the bias. nature and possibly evolution has made us really good at recroding the negatives in order to survive. I will definitely get in touch with your team to do better with my savings. Cheers.Read full review »

I've listened to several of these podcasts and found them very useful and clear. Not only do you get unbiased financial advice, but also helpful ideas about the psychology of being successful. The recordings are clear and well balanced, so are easy to listen to with headphones.Read full review »
