This show has a lot of religious themes to it and seems to spend as much time talking about “god” as it does music

This is an AWESOME resource for people looking to learn more about the music industry at large. As a Nashville native I think this gives a good “behind the scenes” look at what life actually looks like for musicians. So if it is entertainment or education - this is worth a listen!

As a music listener and a musician I like learning more about songwriting craft, process, and people behind it all. This is a nice conversational podcast with interesting people like Annie Clements.

As a hobbyist musician not in Nashville, NY, or LA, this podcast provides a great lens into what it is like engaging in that world and being an intentional musician. I find the interviews very inspiring.

So much hope and so many ideas! For those of us outside Nashville it’s more of a stretch but WE can survive in the industry too. The interview style keeps getting better and better and the guests are amazing. Subscribe if you’re a musician.

I have enjoyed this podcast, yet the last one was laced with a lot of needless profanity. It makes smart people sound ignorant.

I'm so thankful for this podcast. It stands apart from the others in the realm of helping musicians grow their careers by keeping things so real. I've learned valuable truths I didn't know from every episode, and it's always really entertaining. Most of all it's just a really...Read full review »

It's incredible to hear thoughtful, humorous, low-key dialogue on the inner-workings of the blue-collar music industry. For me, it's been validating and reassuring to hear that the industry works more or less how I imagined. Tons of amazing little deep-fried gold nuggets that I'm...Read full review »

With so much turmoil in the music business, this is a much-needed podcast. There is so much misinformation about musicians (like the belief that they’re all either broke or rich), that even musicians themselves belief and Middle Class Musician does a good job of setting that straight. More...Read full review »

I love hearing about how all of these “middle class” musicians live. A lot of people don’t understand how they survive without being rich and famous, but this explores the many types of work they do as well as their revenue streams. Being a musician isn’t a hobby. Some people think it’s just...Read full review »

Such a fresh way to expose the working class of the music industry. Andrew’s interviews are humorous as well as informative. Great podcast for anyone who would like a few laughs while they get an inside look at how the next generation of music professionals are making it all work.
