Today we meet Bernie Wright. Bernie is a BACP (Accred) Counsellor / Psychotherapist, Qualified Clinical Supervisor and Professional Trainer. Currently working as a Clinical Director for NEDDE Neurodiversity, Eating Disorders & Eating Distress. She is a Master Practitioner in my field and passionate about the the subject of Eating Disorders & Neurodiversity.
Bernie specialises in providing training for health professionals in working with those suffering with eating disorders & teaching practitioners how to work with Neurodivergent people also suffering with eating disorders.
I met Bernie when I was studying for my own Master Practitioner and here she talks to me about different eating disorders, about bariatric surgery and the connection between eating issues and neurodiversity.
