Off to a great start!
I've now listened to the first two episodes of The Minds of Madness, which focus on the story of Gary and Jody Plauche. I was 11 years old at the time this happened, and I have vague recollections of my own father remarking that if he were in Gary's shoes, he would have a hard time doing things differently. Tyler's delivery of the information keeps things interesting. The short-ish length of these episodes means that story details are coming at you relatively quickly, which keeps you engaged. I find the narration somewhat monotone, though I understand that subject matter like this shouldn't be read as a children's story. As a final note, I'd like to commend the design of the podcast graphic. That could be a book cover. Congratulations to the artist.Read full review »
