The sound of silence
This topic came up for me just last week when a student in my yoga class asked for music to be played! I explained that in our 1/2 hour’s relaxation practice we use a meditation called antar mouna (inner silence) - to detach from external sensation and develop the capacity to witness the inner life, and discover our own incessant stream of thoughts. Over time, a practitioner can examine and then dismiss the thought at will and discover in the remaining silence, what lies beyond. That then, is reflected out in our relationships. Your show is truly food for my soul - don’t stop talking!

Happy centenary. Thoughtful discussion on milestones especially around the fraught nature of overt celebrations of Anzac Day. As always your program is so intellectually stimulating.
