This episode tells the tale of Skye Budnick, a shy, unassuming 21 year old college student, who in 2008, completely out of the blue, bought a one way ticket to Japan and has never been seen since.
You’ll hear from Skye’s sister Megan, who, within days of her sibling’s disappearance, found herself on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. There, over 6,000 miles from home, she was faced with an impossible task. To locate her sister in a place she did not know, amongst people whose language she did not speak, and whose culture she did not understand.
