I was excited to find a new to me podcast that covered missing people. The episodes seem to only skim the surface of the missing persons cases. The subjects covered in the USA are covered more in depth in other podcasts. This show is a hard pass for me

pleaseeeeee find a new host. pandora does a disservice to these stories with the way she chooses to articulate the story. not only that but the narrative she constructs is beyond disrespectful

If you want to hear about missing people of color, you have to listen to a black true crime podcast. & they exist because no one else cares that we are missing. Very disappointed in the lack of diversity of this podcast.

This is one of the few true crime podcasts that is sensitive and respectful towards the victim and their family. Xx

Really intriguing subject matter but dear god the host speaks so insanely slow. It’s completely bizarre. And since there’s interviews with normal people, you can just fast forward everything.

I feel bad for those people who lost someone and see their life broadcasted, but this podcast is as unhelpful as can be. The vast majority of the time is spent talking about who the “missing” was, what was their life like, and that’s pretty much it. Little time is spent on the actual cold case,...Read full review »

Great pod with an important purpose. I like that they’re doing cases from the US and Canada. That said… when the narrator is speaking, it feels like it’s at .75x 😩

Trying to get though this but the host on the new USA / Canada version speaks so slowly it’s painful. Find myself giving up before the end

It’s about real people and I like the narrator, Pandora, she has a very nice speaking voice. It’s just very sad that so many people have died without a name and no family to mourn them.
annabannabeana via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/03/24
I understand they’re unsolved situations, but every episode ends so randomly …I’m driving try to flip through a commercial but it’s actually just the end of the episode. The “conclusion” never make any sense… it’s like “and then they went to gas station- the end.” Ha! I do like the pod overall,...Read full review »

Just listened to this episode, I’m baffled at what they think is anything helpful . It ended with no info whatsoever. Who was interviewed? Did the girls who bullied her get interviewed? Where was her boyfriend? Not a peep about her dad ! Where was he ? I’m not sure I want to even listen to any...Read full review »

I enjoy listening to this very important and professionally done podcast that talks about those that have seemingly disappeared. Its so Important for loved ones to know the importance of keeping their names and stories in the news.

I thought this was a good podcast until I realised that they were just reposting the same episodes

Clarissa episode is not a missing person story! UK series so much better

Why does the new host enunciate so many words for no apparent reason other than to be dramatic??? The narration is so unnatural. The host of the original version of this podcast was much, much better.

Takes adverts to a new level! More ads than content!
Keys100 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/19/24
This is a very informative podcast, presented clearly. What I don’t understand is there are so many episodes that are subscription only. Why??? If you want the information out there and people found. 🤔 I find this sad 😔
Nannamoo via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 06/17/24
Great that there’s a US version but the narration has totally fallen off a cliff without Pandora. Probably won’t listen to this series which is a shame.

Recently discovered this podcast and have listened to all of the jigsaw episodes. I think this is an absolutely brilliant idea, and would love to hear that it brings some results for these people who have remained unidentified, some for over 50 years. Good job!

Yay
Excited for the American cases! Please have diversity and black stories too

I used to really enjoy this podcast, but I subscribed to get the whole season early and without ads only to not receive any of the advertised benefits. I reached out to them and nothing has changed. No resolution. Don’t waste your money.

Compelling series that I have binged listened to and been thoroughly gripped. My only gripe is why Pandora insists on using the word ‘gotten’ in every episode. Why she ruins her beautifully curated narration with this word baffles me. It’s not appropriate for a serious subject and cheapens the...Read full review »

Carla Wright, the writer of the Steven Durand episode should be fired for how utterly boring abs pointless it was. The single most boring true crime episode I have ever listened to. What a useless podcast.
Stephen779988 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/11/24
Aaargh! Give the relentless background music a rest! Listeners aren’t five-year olds and are more than capable of concentrating without it. Also, far too many adverts and it’s pretty gross making cash off the back of people’s suffering.

Always been a fantastic podcast but the fact that Charlene Downes mother was given a platform to speak was quite sickening.

I read people moaning on here about having to pay for more episodes and how it’s not good for the family’s of the missing , rubbish I’m confident that should any news arise from the use of this channel they’ll be the first to no . People are soar because they don’t want to pay , yet why shouldnt...Read full review »

Really loved this podcast but now you have to pay to have more content! I’m shocked really as isn’t it supposed to be about the family’s and spreading more awareness to the wider world!
Booyo86 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/25/24
This is a fantastic podcast. But with a massive letdown. Such a shame that they have prioritised profiting from families with missing loved ones rather than spread the word for free, far and wide to genuinely help find them. Rather than encourage listeners, it bullies them into paying for a...Read full review »

Great podcast, thoughtfully presented & great way to get the missing voices heard. Noticed a lot of reviews saying you have to subscribe to listen. You don't. Yet another podcast slowly forcing listeners to pay subscriptions. The number of subscriptions these days is unbelievable! I’m out.

I used to really enjoy this podcast, however recently it seems you have to subscribe to be able to continue to listen to episodes - it’s a shame really as the podcast is about missing people and that it would be fair to make them free and to spread more awareness. Unfortunately, the narrator sounds like she is reading to a class of 4 years old.

Empathetic, intelligent and told in a sympathetic way.. so sad what families have to go through when loved ones go missing.
planetzog via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/29/23
A very good podcast. I am disappointed that you now have to pay to listen to some episodes. Surely, if the narrator truly cared about these families who are hoping for information about their loved ones, they should be accessible to everyone?
