Disappointing
Although the podcast fleshes out William’s life to a certain degree, some of the lines of investigation are inappropriate. For example, children do not end up under the guardianship of the minister unless there are significant issues. It is not uncommon for families to dispute the reasons why their children are removed from them - that doesn’t mean the decision was wrong. Interviewing William’s biological grandmother adds nothing to this story. Do police make mistakes? Of course they do. Is there anything sinister about that? No. Leave the investigation to the experts.
