The callers are a drag
Ariel's interviews and segments are generally pretty good, but either he has the most slack-jawed callers around, or he's getting constantly punked. Half the time you expect to hear someone yell "bababooey!" and hang up. Ariel would also do better at keeping his callers on point and keeping them moving if he didn't take 90 seconds to repeat to each caller about how they have to move things along. If their computer sound is up and you're getting echo, or they can't formulate a coherent phrase in the first 30 seconds, or they get stuck in some tape loop repeating the same thing seven different ways, cut 'em off and make an example to the rest of the callers, and the show will tighten up.Read full review »
