“I am an absolutely rabid podcast consumer, and for me to put a podcast in my "must listen" queue is very hard to do. This is in my top 3 - and was since day 1. I am a gigantic fan of 99% Invisible, and Roman Mars turned me onto Answer Me This. From AMT, I heard about The Modern Man - and the formula is perfect. I can't believe that until this point nobody has done something like this. The podcast is a mix of news events, pop culture, tech, life-hacks, story-telling, advice, and relationship/sex information. Think of it as a blend of current news items from Fresh Air, the story telling from This American Life, the "ah-ha" moments of 99% Invisible, topped with some insights from Dr. Drew Pinsky. It's not just for men - women should enjoy this as equally. Olly - well done. Superb actually. I don't know how you opened the lid to my head and saw what the gaps were - but this is it!
