Friendly, informative, accessible.
After recently deciding to dip my toes into the world of investing, I made a few unsure false starts before deciding I should seek out some good, solid information. In my mind investors were slick, suited, city types; not a normal guy like me. I found a couple of good Youtube channels but decided I wanted a podcast to listen to on my long drives at work, this is the first one I tried and I instantly decided that this was the one for me. The hosts are informative, likeable and above all speak on a level that anyone can understand. Despite there being hundreds of episodes, there is no assumption of knowlege, financial jargon is always explained in a manner that is enlightening to a newbie and non patronising for those already in the know. What I also like about this podcast is the broader approach of covering the wider world of personal finance and not just focusing on the investing side of things as so many other outlets seem to do, of course you can't really solidly invest if you dont have your house in order. Even the features that don't personally apply to me are interesting and give me broader view of finance and a solid understanding on how certain things work. I have found my financial literacy growing episode by episode. I don't eggagerate when I say that this is life changing. Thankyou.Read full review »
