“I've listened to The Monitor for about a year but it's been a struggle from the beginning. I love all things pop culture and Angela is great! The host, Peter, however is monotone and way too amused by himself. The show also presents as off the cuff and suffers for it. This last episode where Peter acknowledged that the three participants generally have the same background and view (but there is no plan to change that), and which devoted more than half the episode to an unfunny, irrelevant extended advertisement for an article of Peter's finally put me over the edge.
