Cake voice!
Ever been to a bday party where some jerk who’s got cake/ice cream hanging out at the back of their gullet has to start talking before it drops down their stupid throat? That’s Josh’s voice all the time and it is disqualifying. He’s also somewhat arrogant and speaks in a rambling, unfocused, manner that is never insightful, interesting, nor funny. Less of him and much more of Joe and guest is what’s needed here. Also, it’s important to note that John Wayne indeed could not act, and that Independence Day is a cringey, worthless, stupid movie.

This show is, along with the Filmstruck podcasts, a really nice insight into the motivations and inspirations of filmmakers. And the hosts are funny and interesting by themselves! Brilliant, and highly recommended.
