Didn’t even make it through the first episode
I agree with you Shredder203 - as soon as she said this is a true story of murders that happened, but in a small town that she can’t say the name of nor the people involved, so us listeners have no way to verify the story, I knew it wasn’t real. Then the fake 911 calls and “Lisa” talking but sounding like she was reading from a book, I was over it.

I think the bad reviews are just owed to the show being mis categorized as true crime. It’s not, it’s fiction and it’s def worth more than 3 stars. I haven‘t listened to this but the ads for this in other Wondery shows are so obtrusive and annoying, they literally make me rush to my phone to hit the skip button! I was intrigued by this story, as it seemed to imply that the separate series of murders would all be tied together somehow. Spoiler: they weren’t.
