The Naked Scientists have done lots of good things for science communication in the UK. The show is informative and entertaining, and Chris Smith hosts it well, although he often comes across, in my opinion, as a little too proud of his success. Science does itself a disservice when it is unapproachable, and arrogance is one thing that can hinder people from getting into it. At times, he comes across as if he knows all about science and is above the non-illuminati who haven't studied it. The team on the whole however have great fun with the kitchen science, and science in the pub - although I think The Beer Drinking Scientists do this a little better.Read full review »

I subscribe to a variety of science and skeptic shows and this is my favorite, all the latest science well explained. Interesting segments and good cast with Dr Chris. I'll read items later in print and recognize them from Naked. Great show guys!Read full review »
