Not a patch on the paper
There is no comparison between the newspaper with it's high standard of reporting, and the disappointingly low standards of the podcast. The two male presenters, Steve Anglesey and Jonathan Porritt, spend too much time giggling like teenagers, making puerile comments such as "I fancy her", or "I didn't snog her". The occasional female contributor, Geri Scott, joins in the giggling, but when talking seriously has a tendency to gabble and let her voice trail off at the end of sentences, making it difficult to understand what she is saying. Try comparing this with "The Political Scene" from The New Yorker, and you'll see how a political podcast can be interesting and entertaining, without degenerating into schoolboy humour.Read full review »

This podcast is so fabulous, informative, friendly, cuddly and makes me roar with laughter.
