“Big horror fan here and also big podcast fan. I found this show last year and admit I was not sold right away. Had no idea what was going on the first time I heard Joe break into the first bits & pieces “theme”. I quickly grew to love this quirky duet and consumed all the back episodes I could get my hands on. These guys know their horror (Brett literally watches every movie that comes to the theater), and even when I don’t agree with the review they don’t make angry and talk down to me like other podcasts. These guys know the business and have connections, but don’t name drop like other shows (I see you shock waves) to remind you that they are important. They are funny, self deprecating, and don't take themselves to seriously while still dropping knowledge all over the place. If you can look past Brett’s awful jam band references you’ll see that these guys represent those of us who live the horror lifestyle who don’t have neck beard and live in moms basement.
