Exceptional political podcast
Best listened to in tandem with the Spectator podcast this excellent left of centre has an unscripted free form feel with two first class political observers Helen Lewis and Stephen Bush. Helen like Fraser and Isabel from the Spectator venture out into other podcasts Stephen less so which is a shame as his analysis is very very good. Content is first class and has the added bonus of Stephens weekly “from our sponsor” message where he gamely flogs everything from mattresses to rooms in budget hotels. If “I can’t get no satisfaction” was written today surely the line “when I’m listening to my podcast and some guy comes on and tells me with mattress to buy” would be in there.
