It’s good, but..
update, the music just keeps getting ever more bizarre, I’m becoming rather concerned about whoever it is who’s choice it is, I think they need help. Why two introductions? Why the truly awful ‘jackanory’ happy, happy, music? It makes it sound as if it’s aimed at ten year olds. Other than that I like it and they do very sensible coverage of topics.

This is a great politics podcast, made so by the two stellar hosts. Both Helen and Stephen are knowledgeable, smart, witty, openly but not uncritically lefty, and don't take themselves too seriously. ... just like the New Statesman itself. Essential listening. Stephen and Helen (and Anoosh when subbing in) are great presenter- knowledgeable and prepared to ask difficult questions about British politics, Labour and superhero films
