Alice Munro ! André Alexis !
André Alexis's selection and reading of Alice Munro's story "Before The Change" is engrossing, and superbly performed. I still miss his CBC radio program "Skylarking'. He is a very good writer himself, and an astute reader of other's work. This is a complex story with many switchbacks during the narrator's and the readers understanding of the motives, and intentions of all the characters. I've listened to all the NYer fiction podcasts many times. It is a treasure for those who love writing.Read full review »
