Another story from the book Torn Trousers. How I chased a heard of elephant, in the dead of the blackest night, out of our camp to prevent damage that they would surely cause while foraging through the bush. Looking back, I must of been out of my mind.

Harry Fisher (Fire to Fork channel), Rob Parsons and I discuss issues with gathering content in Tasmania's parks and recreation areas. 20-year old rules made to govern high-budget TV productions are now, without warning or consultation, severely limiting content creators wishing to share and inspire travellers to that state.

Truth is, I don't really hate baboons. But I do dislike them. Quite a lot. And I just want them to stay away from me while I'm camping. But this run-in with them many years ago was not the first, but makes one of my best bush campfire stories. It took place in the Okavango when Gwynn and I ran Delta Camp (Tau Camp) and forms part of Torn Trousers, our bestselling memoir. ANDREW’S AWARD-WINNING MEMOIR: http://bit.ly/Torn_Trousers
