This is a terrible and terrifying story of a man who got away with murder.

This was an incredible story. I have been , at turns, convinced that each of the 3 primary suspects were guilty. I sure hope this case is solved. What a tragedy.

I feel this time the podcast is missing Hedleys usual excellence. The podcast didn’t flow, we were almost at the end of episode one when we were given details of Janine’s last known movements and that should have been where the episode started, not ended. The first episode was...Read full review »

This was a great podcast. I really like Hedley’s presentation style and interviews with all the key people in this tragic story. However, I did find the middle episodes were a bit repetitive and kept going over the same points and material which we had already heard earlier on. I think it would...Read full review »

Hedley’s neutral delivery and compassionate, mild approach to even the most provocative conversations creates a zen-like investigative podcast for the listener. Thank you for an enthralling, entertaining and articulate piece of work - you must be so proud of what you have accomplished here and in...Read full review »

I have listened to the Australian crime podcasts in the past and enjoyed them. However this one felt unstructured and bounced around from topic to topic without clear signposting or introduction of new voices. It was hard to keep a track of, and I’ve ended up replaying large portions which is...Read full review »

I’m not a reader of NewsCorp publications but Hedley Thomas seems to be an exceptional investigative journalist and it’s wonderful that he is able to put effort into trying to find closure for such devastating cases. I desperately hope there can be some closure for the Vaughan family as soon as...Read full review »

Why do I care about a car race that took place (if memory serves) a good two months before the woman’s disappearance? What am I doing listening to announcers of this race for minutes? I am sorry, but it feels like you fill in your podcasts with irrelevant detail and repeat information. More...Read full review »

I am late to the party with this one. Very sad story of a horrific crime and police misconduct possibly. I cannot understand how her stalker, who she probably new through the store etc has not been identified or more closely scrutinised. I really hope this beautiful lady and her family find the...Read full review »

Hedley Thomas’ work is always superb and this was no different - serious journalism meticulously and grippingly told; he has a great radio voice too. I’d love to know what updates there are.

I’m from the UK and I just Love the podcasts based around finding the perpetrators so the families get the closure they so desperately deserve. What is a fantastic piece of investigative journalism also casts huge light on just how many male suspects there can be in one vicinity that women feel...Read full review »

However, just because Brad Hoseman and his family say he is innocent- doesn’t mean he is. Him denying the flowers was telling.

I’m halfway through episode 3 and just grossed out by how biased Hedley is. Is this a podcast about a woman’s disappearance, or about exonerating this Brad Hoseman? I find myself questioning what exactly has passed between Hedley and Brad to make him so bent on singing his praises. Maybe an old...Read full review »

Very interesting that a woman who became a murder victim was described as a drama queen, but did actually disappear never to be seen again.

It’s frustrating that the podcast producers heavily believe that Andrew Jones is not a good suspect just because Lynette couldn’t ID him in a police image line up. That doesn’t mean it wasn't him that tried to abduct her. Who knows what image she was shown. More research has to be done. He...Read full review »

I went from a break listening to podcasts and decided to throw myself back in. There are numerous examples of police covering up the crimes of other police. To act or talk about how that isn’t possible is either stupid or very suspect. And he was on the case

I binged this podcast as it has a lot of very interesting information and I enjoyed the interview style and manner, however, it’s poorly edited. Lots of skipping and repeating. Quite messy. Probably worth re-editing as it’s one that many would get into and may even one day solve this cold case!
