Had to stop listening - they weren’t even at points that made sense. Suddenly an ad in the middle of a really profound point?? Office ladies has an ad at the start and an ad in the middle - they announce they’re taking a break. It’s so much better to listen to! Such a shame because love the...Read full review »

Couldn’t handle the ads! Made it 27:30 into a single episode, before I couldn’t handle the jarring breaks from the dialog.

Interesting interviews in part due to the extensive culture built around The Office. Thanks for that! But wow..there really seems to be a solid income stream just based on the legendary number of ads, of which there are so many that they appear both after cues for a break and then also 1-2...Read full review »

So many ads! Often part way through a sentence spoiling the flow. The content is good but the ads spoil it. Would have rated higher if it wasn’t for all the ads!

Every episode is interrupted multiple times for ads. The current hour long episode has stopped for 6 add breaks so far, and I am almost halfway through the episode.

The Office was successful because of the organization culture, the creative genius, the courage to question the conventions in the industry. These interviews are inspiring and educational for artists, leaders, entrepreneurs, or anyone who wants to learn how to create something great in a world...Read full review »

Brian — Firsr of all you have an amazing baritone to your voice! Listening to you is absolute pleasure and your conversations with Office peeps and staff are so wonderfully balanced & interesting. Yes, my fave interview/conversation has been Steve C. Well because he’s such a good human AND...Read full review »

Agree with others that there are way too many ads and since they’re auto-injected it can be very jarring and off-putting as a listener. However, the conversations have been very engaging and I’ve loved all of the interviews I’ve heard so far.

Ads
There are 4min or so of ads before the episode even starts. You’d think that would be so there wouldn’t be any during the show, but there’s still multiple ads directly in the middle and a few more minutes at the end. It gets worse if your listening to episodes one after the other, because you’re...Read full review »

Not only are there too many ads, they are too long and completely random. Literally in the middle of a thought/sentence etc and right into an ad. They are not well placed or thought out and make this completely un-listenable.
Bewitched88 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/18/23
I definitely will never listen to this podcast again. In the first 26 minutes, there were four, three minute bunches of ads. To make matters worse, the guest in question would be mid sentence when the ads would just interrupt. I am a huge fan of the office, but this podcast was a gigantic waste...Read full review »

15mins of ads in a 50min episode, seriously??
Hfriis86 via Apple Podcasts · Denmark · 09/02/23
Someone needs to fix these episodes, where guests are interrupted mid-sentence by full ad beaks, on top of the regular ones, that still play in the designated spot. I think 30% of the episodes are actually ads. That’s a shame, because it’s interesting, the host is great.
AiméeV via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/01/23
Entertaining from the little bit I heard, but the AMOUNT and FREQUENCY of ads make it positively unlistenable. Sometimes ads not even 2 mins apart (!). A couple notches beyond ridiculous. Unfollowed. 😞

80% ads and maybe 20% podcast:( Which sucks because if it wasn’t for the ads it would be a great podcast. I get having a couple ads but this is extreme. They really ruin the listening experience.

Actors have received tens of thousands for one episode of the office: do you really need all those ads??? It's really disappointing and distracting. I don't mind one at the beginning or end or once in the middle but like constantly interrupting the chatting for some random ad is just...Read full review »

I love this podcast and he actually talks about the office( unlike the rants in office ladies) but there are SOOo MANYYY ADSSS

Are the office residuals so bad that you cant afford to go 30 seconds of dialogue without ads? Give it up man - its a horrible experience listening to this crap.

Mixing & producing this podcast as the bumbling Kevin Malone is comedic genius. Really great method acting. Only Kevin could stuff up every single conversation by inserting ad breaks mid sentence, then back to the conversation, then ad break 15 seconds later, followed by the music that would...Read full review »

The conversations are interesting but it feels like a money grab. There are 15+ minutes of ads on a podcast that is less than an hour long. Conversations are interrupted mid-sentence for a 2 1/2 min ad break. Splitting the pre-recorded interviews into two episodes that aren’t back-to-back is...Read full review »

As others have said, the ads are insane. Poorly placed, disruptive, too many! Otherwise the content is good.

Look, Imma be honest here, this show is not really that good. I tried listening to the first episode, but I literally couldn’t get past 14:18 because of THE ADDDSSSSSS! Far far too many long ad interjections at random moments which break up the conversation. Americans take themselves far too seriously and Brian talked over the top of Ricky Gervais too often.

Fantastic podcast but the number of mid roll ads is ridiculous - really takes you out of narrative :(

Ads
Ads are way too frequent and not even properly edited into the podcast. (Ads start mid sentence). I can’t listen anymore for this reason.
jessica4454 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/08/22
4 stars for the conversations, but these ads make me feel like I have dropped my chilli on the office floor. You need to figure this out or stop being so cheap. You don’t need this many ads. Lol
Phil Dunphy Realtor via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 11/02/22
I came here to say the same things about the ads. Not only are there an absurd amount of them but they come on mid sentence - there’s no rhyme or reason to it. It’s disappointing because I enjoy the podcast but that makes it so frustrating to listen to I can’t stick with it.
HappyNat@ via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/29/22
SO MANY ADS interrupting every few minutes. Worse than the old days of TV. Aarrgh. I love The Office Ladies which is why I tried this one. Oh well.

Hard to get into the content with an ad every 5 minutes. Would have liked it otherwise…

It’s a testament to the quality of these interviews that I listend passed the first episode because there are SO MANY ADS which constantly interrupt the content.

I absolutely love the Office and couldn’t wait to get stuck into this podcast. However the amount of adverts are just ridiculous. There are so many, making it almost unbearable and impossible to relax and listen to the show. Gutted.

This is delightful, but the ads are out of control. Out 👏🏻 of 👏🏻 control 👏🏻 I’ve started to get jumpy even mid-sentence. This episode I’m listening to is over five minutes in, and the interview still hasn’t started. I’m talking more about the ads than the content, so guys…”calibrate.” ♥️✌🏻
Ellebell7767 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/09/22
So many ads and rarely actually about the office. Weird guests weird tangents. It’s sad to see the office actors desperate for some side cash seems like their selling their souls for ad casts. Just some excuse for them to have something to put ads in.
fuqurname via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/03/22
Love to hear from people involved in the office, but can chill with the ads? Sometimes is every 2 minutes. Mid sentence! Nuts
Shinyoldwindow via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/29/22
A million ads that start in the middle of sentences, sometimes in the middle of words. Is this truly the best we could do? Hard to listen to because I’m constantly skipping ads to get to content.

I listen to podcasts of all genres daily and never ever had the infuriating experience of an ad every couple minutes. Just put them all together in middle and be done with it! Otherwise excellent material!

Literally mid sentence they come on. Multiple episodes. Repetitive. Wait for a break in the sentence at least. It makes it very difficult to listen to!

The interview content is fantastic! However there are so many commercials that cut in mid conversation that it really disconnects you from the content and makes it impossible to follow along. What a shame
