I think there’s a show in there. Somewhere.
It’s one thing to have a podcast that has ads. It’s another thing to be essentially a series of ads with a little bit of podcast stuck in. The latter is what this show is. And off the cuff estimate would be that 20% of the show is commercials. Worse, when the ad breaks come they are haphazardly placed: mid-thought, mid-sentence, mid-word. Clearly iHeart has no respect for either Brian Baumgartner nor the listeners. They have turned the show into an insult to both.

More reviews of The Office Deep Dive
Far far too many long ad interjections at random moments which break up the conversation. Americans take themselves far too seriously and Brian talked over the top of Ricky Gervais too often.

So many ads and rarely actually about the office. Weird guests weird tangents. It’s sad to see the office actors desperate for some side cash seems like their selling their souls for ad casts. Just some excuse for them to have something to put ads in.

The interview content is fantastic! However there are so many commercials that cut in mid conversation that it really disconnects you from the content and makes it impossible to follow along. What a shame
