“Jeff,
I have made it habit listenitng your podcast which has provided much value. I have also purchased the book.
Here is my Critical Feedback
You don't have to agree with everything people say.
The question regarding the "The 1 Thing" you aksed your podcastee in which he responsed with an aswer and you immediately indicated "You just created a module".
What should have been asked is "What is the gap? Does this 1 thing sovle that gap?" or "What is the standard that I am trying to meet?"
The 1 thing
"You have ilicent an emtional response in order to change a behavior". What this means is that something you have piss people off or make them feel uncomfortable to change their behavior.
The 1 thing that would make all this work is to hold people accountable.
If you are going have a call, here is my suggestions:
1. Provide ground rules which includes providing 3 pieces of critical feedback to each other. I mean "critical" not soft.
2. People must publciy share their progress throughout the week to their goals.
3. On the call, if someone does not meet their goals the group does not pass "go and collect $200" until that bahavior is resolved and an action plan is in place to recover.
Thanks for listening.”Read full review »
