“I really appreciate Star Trek for its intellectual and socially progressive messages. Of all the shows, DS9 arguably does the best job wrestling with the real life issues in a way that encompassess and respects all belief systems while forcing us to examine and question ourselves and humanity. Chris and Matt do an excellent job discussing the larger issues and character developments of the show in this analytical podcast. Many of the messages of Star Trek and DS9 in particular are quite relevant to today. If you listen to this podcast you'll get an enjoyable conversation and perhaps examine DS9 and current events in a different light. One of the best things about this podcast is how vocal Chris and Matt are about their differing viewpoints while remaining genuine in their respect and appreciation of one another.
