A Charlie Kelly Fever Dream
While I do enjoy the premise, and even the execution of this strange and whimsically dark experience. At what point will the main character wake up as Charlie Kelly in be next to Frank Reynolds, quickly followed by them playing a game of nightcrawlers? For that matter, when is Charlie Day going to get sick of playing socially inept janitors whose grasps on reality are tenuous at best? Not that I'm hating on it. While I'm sure that this story of a surreal French variety show will be every bit as spooooooooooky as that first story, I'll constantly be waiting for our creative custodial friend to start reciting bird law, or asking for milksteak, or trying to get the stage manag.... I mean waitress to fall in love with him. 5 starsRead full review »

What a lovely and strange first episode. The production value is off the charts, and I love all the crackles and old-timey touches. It's the kind of show you could imagine being broadcast in Columbia from Bioshock Infinite.Read full review »

It has redeemable parts, but the janitor character annoys me far too much for the rest of the show to be enjoyable.
