Masterpiece
It's simply spellbinding. The characters, the writing, the acting, all 10/10! Each of them alone would be good enough to carry a show. Characters: in only the first 4 episodes, (arguably) four characters have already been extremely well established, (Julian, Latisha, Jacque, and Mr. Cameron) and I love them all and care a lot to get to know them more. Writing: Not only does the writing always reflect the character speaking, it's also beautiful (in different ways depending on the speaker) and purposeful. There is hardly a lazy sentence in this podcast. I dare describe it as "literature" level. Though, that's not to say there are no jokes or thrills. They've got those aplenty. Acting: And tying it all together, the *phenomenal* talent of every actor involved! I actually found myself confused whether the actors were really telling fictional stories rather than real things that happened to them! You see, the dialogue that happens off the in-universe stage, so you know "unrehearsed" like all real life dialogue, it is presented with all false starts and filler words and stuttering and everything included. It feels like you are in a room with them and just having a conversation with a real person. Really, it's a thing to experience. I'd recommend listening with headphones for full immersion. HUGE kudos to everyone involved. I can't wait for the next episode (heck, i already cant wait for the next season!). You've made something magical.Read full review »

I'm writing this after lstening to the first episode )so who knows, maybe the rest will be awful). So far I am thoroughly enjoying this podcast, it's well written, wonderfully acted and, to be honest, I have a thing for this specific kind of setting/story. Julian the Janitor reminds me a...Read full review »

Honestly was a bit hesitant at first because the janitor's voice sort of grated on my nerves with how whiny it seemed - but then it really started to grow on me. It's still whiny, but I think it contributes to him as a character and really conveys a sense of how lonely he is. Honestly...Read full review »
