Quirky, thoughtful (and answering a plea)
Ok, Andrew Leland, you got me in your plea at the end of the "The Show about The Show about the Show" that if faithful listeners don't rate or review their favorite podcasts, that they die. And I REALLY don't want the Organist to die! The Organist is quirky, thoughtful, and a meandering into human foibles along the continuum of behavior that ranges from oddly interesting to downright confounding. Never judge-y, never pretentious or contemptuous, the Organist offers endless opportunities (in each episode) to ask ourselves, "how do I feel about this?". This was especially true in this last episode....so complex, so frought with opportunity to slip easily into condemnation of Caveh and his directives, but simultaneously inviting us to ask the bigger existential questions. I love the Organist for this, for these pictures of complex, often humorous but never boring ponderings into our humanity - at a time when humanity seems absolutely in peril. Thank you, Organist!Read full review »

A quirky hourlong cutup. A cultural grab-bag of sorts. Wonderful show.
