“Great Segment. This isn't your entry level lessons on the Orisha. I like how Chief goes above and beyond and goes into different realms and shows the oneness of all things in his words. I watched a Chinese drama recently and there was a scene where the main character was in a tomb with his ancestor learning all different types of fightings styles that were of his family line. His ancestor believed that their clan skills were superior to all and he had dedicated multiple lifetimes to learning it all but he couldn't leave the tomb, destined to awaken every 60 years to test those of his clan that were worthy to pass on his skills to. But the main character, after he fought he ancestor day after day he didn't want to just learn the arts of his clan. He said that he wouldn't become a zombie to just one style his whole life. Thus he ended up creating his one style and defeated his ancestor of which he was proud. That's chief, he doesn't bog himself down to just one style but many and he can pull from all and show the oneness of them all. Chief is like ODB cause there is no father to style. That's the beauty of these teaching and these traditions. Gain the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to act and level up.”Read full review »
