Rosenbauer is my hero
"Talking about fly fishing" can be about as productive as "dancing about architecture," but Tom does it in a way that actually helps. Maybe that sounds like an overly-simple statement, but, to me, it's the highest praise possible for a fly fishing podcast. I find myself rewinding often just to go over points again, because the information is that good and that applicable. Rosenbauer's approach is key: there are lots of guys out there who know a lot about fly fishing, but I haven't found anyone else who can teach it in such a humble, humorous, approachable manner. Sometimes I get down on Orvis in the same way one might get down on the New York Yankees, but this podcast, for me, does a lot to restore the brand's credibility. Thanks, Orvis. And thanks, Tom.Read full review »

Tom does a great job of common sense advice on fly fishing borne out of many days on the water I'm sure. Both the novice and 'expert' will pick up a few tips. Relaxed style that makes you feel like you are trading stories over a campfire. Hope there are many more installments to come....Read full review »

I find I listen over and over to my favorites (though I still catch far fewer fish than I think I should) Thanks Tom!

This podcast is awesome! Great information and fun to listen to. Would be great with some tropical salt discussions but I'd rather Tom say he doesn't know enough about a subject than listen to inaccurate information.
