LOVE this podcast and Avital's work!
About 2 years ago, I came across Avital's Present Play course via one of my peaceful parenting facebook groups - it was then that I began my first sweep of decluttering, creating intentional play zones, and living each day more and more intentionally with my children, aged 2 and 3 at the time. It was the perfect resource for me at the time, as a mother of two beginning a job teaching in a reggio preschool. I found myself wanting a refresher of Avital's information so I signed up again about a year later and - OMG! - I wish I had never left!!! The information she presents has developed so much through the years and I couldn't be more grateful to be part of it again. In addition, being part of this beautiful community of like-minded mamas is just priceless. There is nowhere else I can post a question and get well thought-out, non-judgemental and empathetic feedback. Anyway, I digress... the purpose of this review is to let you all know that her podcast continues to share her mindful parenting tips in a fun and engaging way. In podcast #2, I found it a huge relief to hear that we can lay off the guilt of accepting help in order to create more flow and intentionality in our homes. She;s right - if we design our day-to-day lives in such a way that results in happier, calmer parents, the kids absolutely reap the benefits of that - and that might include them being looked after by other members of our village (that it takes to raise a child!) Thank you for all your work Avital, it's been a life-changer in this house and I can't wait to follow this podcast and continue my learning and growing as a mama and as an individual too.Read full review »
