Way beyond a podcast. We need a new taxonomy.
What an incredible break-out on so many levels. First, just on the basis of its understated sound production - rich, intimate, evocative (like the UK's Falling Tree Production s). Second, pure total gobsmacking pleasure (thinking here of listening to Donnetta Lavinia Grays reading a short-short story by Shelly Oria). Third - but wait: can they keep it up??? Let's hope so. ....and sexual assault as a garnish. Really confused how Ep. 16, which was basically a cheesy rap video in written form, made the editorial cut. Why is misogyny and sexual assault ok if it comes from a black man? Is this what we are to expect the rest of the season? If so, I’ll unsubscribe now.

Each episode of this podcast is simply beautiful to listen to. A wonderful match of styles to the considerable substance of the material presented, they are all on another level compared to similar offerings and stand up to repeated listens.
