Pro-Israel bias needs to end
As a long time fan of RN breakfast and this show, it’s disappointing to see such one-sided pro-Israeli narratives being run again and again. Today’s episode on the Israel-Gaza war was quick to empathise with the Jewish community in Melbourne, but there is a complete erasure of the psychological and physical impacts of the war on Australians who were recently allowed to leave horrific conditions in Gaza and who’s families and friends they had to leave behind and who continue to be killed by the IDF. Are their voices not worthy of our consideration? Are they not Australians too? Surely the death and suffering of their families and the impacts this has on them and their communities are more pressing than heightening concerns about antisemitism?
