We sorely miss hearing P.K and Fran hosting in the Party Room. Andrew, Mark, David, Lenore, Sabra and all the gangs analysis is desperately needed and really missing in this current unprecedented crisis. The disruption is across the globe and breaking down the long and short term effects is...Read full review »

Hi Fran and PK, I really like The Party Room. Well done. However, having said that, I have a request... You both say ‘ya know’ a LOT. Fran, you use this mini gap-filler more than PK but you both do it. PK you tend to also say it when you’re on The Insiders - but nowhere near the number of times...Read full review »

I really enjoy listening to your podcast. I found the episode with Sarah Hanson-Young incredibly difficult to listen too.
Jules69. via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/31/20
Thank you for your mammoth service to truth and quality analysis in these challenging times. Trusted sources such as the BBC, Guardian and ABC will emerge from this as pillars of strength - more so than most government sources. You are what will hold us together. Thank you.
Rosella19 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/26/20
but...PK is domineering, loud and annoying. Sorry, the content is good but I have to stop after the third time PK has talked over Fran in an extremely know it all way.
Kimbararama via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/20/20
I thought you let SHY off the hook. She didn’t answer your questions, spoke at length and hid behind the victim. Please don’t do double interviews like this again. Really love the show and wouldn’t miss it for the world. PM
p-mac08 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/17/20
Disappointing to see Fran and Patricia be so black and white about domestic violence in their interview with SHY. Your interview came across as incredibly condescending to the victim, essentially implying she (the victim) was wrong to have made the decision to stand by her husband. Disgusting

I have listened to this podcast since the beginning but I can’t do it anymore. All it is now is opinions and discussion about topics the hosts are interested in whether they featured in the political debate or not. Not interested in your personal views thanks.

PK and Fran need to do joint interviews more often - this was an outstanding episode, and is and outstanding podcast.
Nick5797 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/10/20
Used to love this podcast now instead of reporting what’s going on in Australian politics there is too much speculation and punditry. Also there is more regurgitated LNP talking points. Very frustrating!

They never really give it to the government and call them out as working against the national/people’s interest do they? Eventually, they both reveal themselves to be good little apologists for the Libs

I love this podcast! I recommend it to everyone interested in what’s going on in Australia. PK and Fran are just so insightful. I look forward to hearing a new episode every Thursday! Love it!

Look forward to getting my weekly dive into federal politics with two wise, witty and wily women. Plus I love their judgmental tones when politicians do stupid things.

If you’re an Australian political nerd, then I warn you. Listen once and you’ll be hooked. Is ok until we get to summer and the party shuts down for Christmas... then the withdrawals start. This is the podcast by which all others should be measured. Thanks Fran & PK

Your five star rating is truly deserved. The Party Room is my favourite podcast, and I listen to a few! You manage to retain the “meatiness” while making it funny and entertaining at the same time. Hi Fran and PK a question for Question Time. Last year I heard a number of commentators reference the disharmony within the Greens Party - yet we saw no evidence of this when Richard De Natalie stood down and a new leader had to be found, unlike the Nationals debacle. My question is, what was...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Fran and PK are so easy to listen to, making sense of Australian politics with wit and humour and insight. And the guests always add a special flavour to the conversations. I’m only sad that it’s a weekly podcast not daily, I’m addicted.
