“Some commentators are too angry, too serious, too silly--not Patrick. He is approachable, thoughtful, and, well, on occasion silly...but not too much. Before I was Catholic and I was listening to Patrick, I wanted to keep listening and stop listening at the same time (maybe I have moderate to severe ADHD?). I didn't want to become Catholic, but he was so warm even when I didn't agree it was hard not to hear him out.
