““This was completely engrossing. One of the most affecting audio dramas I’ve heard yet, well-crafted story with depth and meaning. Great writing, good acting, and the ending left me shattered.”
My above review was following season 1. I cannot make the same statements for season 2 or for the currently airing season 3. The episodes are so short now which does not leave time for emotional beats to last longer than a moment. Inconsistent pronunciation, little things that take the listener out of the story. The acting seems rushed and unconvincing, which is a serious letdown when I think of how I felt at the end of season 1. I am not even sure I can finish it out at this point. Seriously sad about this.”
