The Very Best of Podcasts from the UK
I am not sure how I found this podcast but it is certainly helping my brain in this uncertain time of Covid. This podcast is pure joy! I especially like the presenter Nihal Arthanayake with his genuine love of the subjects, warm voice and humour. I am Canadian and we do not get the rich array of books that the UK has. Audible here in Canada is full of Oprah picks and US authors. There is not enough diversity in our book market.

Although essentially an advert for new Penguin books, the manner in which Withail conducts the advert is very disarming and makes for a great Podcast. Relaxed, intelligent questions and sometimes humourous. All good.

Love the way Nihal interviews authors in a relaxed manner. A natural conversation forms and he gives the time to his interviewee to form and express their thoghts calmly. An excellent story, well told by Mr Palmer. A nice gesture from Penguin and just right to get the bah humbug brigade like me into the Christmas spirit. Great in the car on the way to work. Happy listening and Merry Christmas.
