“You guys are fascinating to listen to for some of the best abstract football roster concepts. Honestly inspired my friend and I to do a podcast ourselves (to subject our parents and loved ones to listen to). We just enjoy talking about football and going into debater debates on things beyond just team x vs team y. Thanks for the motivation, good luck finding a guest next week and keep up the great work.
Anyways on to my question. I think your takes would be better than my friend and I’s. The question is inspired by auction fantasy drafts and your takes on positional values.
In terms of roster construction... you and 31 other gms are given $100 to spend in a blind auction to create your entire roster. If you invest the most you at qb or wr etc you get the first pick of players at the position. 2nd most 2nd pick. You can invest whatever portion you want into each position. How much do you spend on qb? On OLB? Do you spend any on LG?
