Having a lawyer from the Heritage Foundation on while they are pushing Project 2025 and we’re on the brink of losing our democracy is at best shortsighted and at worst, malicious normalization of fascists.

not good. Lots of unimportant info (a lot of info on the Poconos ?? Why??), interviews with extraneous people with no first hand knowledge. Podcast version of - if it bleeds it leads. There’s a much better podcast on this case.

I’ve been listening for years. Seasons 1-5 were great. Sometimes they had their misses but overall they were extremely informative. But there hasn’t been enough new information for a season 6 but they did it anyway. Rumors, wild speculation, bad editing, the freaking HERITAGE FOUNDATION lawyer....Read full review »

Your last episode was nothing more then someone’s opinion and plug for his book. Stop with this and wait for the trial to start and have the truth come out. I’m not saying he is innocent nor saying he is guilty. That’s what the trial is for and the real evidence shown. Until then let the „ real...Read full review »

There aren’t many podcasts about this case, so I’ve come back to this one a few times. Sadly, it continues to disappoint. It just doesn’t seem like they are providing good content even though the audio sounds professional. Inconsistencies in information given is frequent as well as an...Read full review »

Episode 3 isn’t great. The college student that is being interviewed and the interviewer sound like they’re joking around. It’s uncomfortable to listen to. I can feel like they’re smiling as they’re talking to each other.

I lived there when the murders took place, so this whole story fascinates me.
Jess 37(()()); via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/15/24
This podcast quickly goes over the crime itself and then delves into detail about different circumstances surrounding the case. I suppose that’s their format but the details don’t really add to the understanding of the crime. The biggest example is a full episode about the demolition of the scene...Read full review »

How do you repeat a horrible rumor about one of the victims, and then claim to be above spreading such filth? Seems like you dont know how rumors spread. Its by people like you repeating stupid things. For example, I had not heard that rumor. But thanks to you, now I have. See how That works? See...Read full review »

Was mostly impressed by this podcast until the episode with the book author, which felt largely speculative and exploitative. It also began with a major and obvious flub from the host, Armstrong, who opened the show with a line about “the state of Ohio versus Kohberger.” A decent listen but in...Read full review »

The near constant eerie music behind the narrative is distracting, repetitive and cheapens the already mediocre narrative and script reading.
Bran_y via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/12/24
Great podcast but the latest episode added nothing but a book plug. That would have been fine except the author is unlikable. Couldn’t finish that episode but hopefully next weeks is as good as the first 4.

So bad I just feel bad giving 1 star. Voices are extremely bland and they don’t seem to know the facts well enough to be speaking on it… many YouTubers have much better info on these 4 tragic deaths

Episodes are filled with stupid errors that should be easily caught. For example, in on episode they are referring the court case and the narrator says Ohio vs Kohberger insisted of Idaho vs Kohberger. The title of the show is called The Idaho Massacre, how does an editor or fact checker miss...Read full review »

Too much detail. I don’t need to hear an entire episode on whether the house should’ve been demolished or not.

Of course, it’s a matter of personal taste, but there’s just too much repetitive or low relevance content for me. I enjoyed the early episodes the most, but after a while, one can only listen to so many people speculate or share feelings about what it means to commit a murder with a knife or...Read full review »

I was SO interested to listen to this. There is some good perspectives, insight, etc., HOWEVER, there are SOOOOOOOOOO many ads! Easily 25% (if not more!) of each episode is ads and it takes away from the actual podcast. I spent more time skipping than I did listening.

Lots of ads and lots of filler. Drags on and on. Totally milking it.
ElSiv10 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 07/10/24
Far too many adverts. Probably close to 20% of listening time. Much better options out there.
Nohopai via Apple Podcasts · New Zealand · 07/10/24
Was hoping this podcast was going to be informative but the reporting is amateur and sounds like a high school project. Mediocre at best. They play “spooky” music to sensationalize a horrific story and make it seem like their reporting is actually reporting. Fail.
Sweeteaaa via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/10/24
12 minutes of ads that are always the same and never match the tone of the podcast. Also the podcast has gotten sloppy and is now full of mistakes that should have never made it to publish in the first place. Lastly, their bias is showing. l

Overly dramatic music, unnecessary “interviews” with fellow journalists and producers, learn how to say Latah and other Idaho/Washington locations (it’s NOT hard to look this up!), sloppy journalism all around interjected with tons of ads. This podcast sadly is following the same path as the abc podcast parading Howard Bloom’s trash book as fact. This is as much of a guessing game as any creator on you tube or subReddit. None of us have any facts outside of the few public, heavily redacted court docs. He’s only getting credibility...Read full review »

Have been loving it so far, but S6E5 really turned me off. The number of times the interviewee referenced his “book” was gross. The whole episode came off as a paid promotion

The way that Howard Blum was allowed to speculate endlessly about what Brian Kohberger, his father, or anyone else may have been thinking and feeling without any pushback from the host at all throws the credibility of this whole podcast into question. Why are podcasts giving this guy and his inaccurate book exposure. Just don’t put out an episode if you don’t have any new real information. This is just sad and makes me very disappointed in this podcast that normally is a good listen.

The host has a fine speaking voice, but the substantive content in the first four episodes is nonexistent. When the SAME THREE ADS are played MULTIPLE times during a 25 minute episode, it means no matter how compelling the podcast, I CANNOT LISTEN TO ONE MORE MINUTE! Nor will I listen to the three programs that are CONSTANTLY played, because they are ridiculous and annoying!!

The 50% ad content makes it hard to hang on through an episode but there’s so little happening in the real life judicial process right now, it seems like they’re reaching hard for content. Amazing coverage and investigative of the Idaho Murders. So much detail emerges from skilled interviewers on these episodes. I can’t wait to go back and listen to more. It’s a great podcast.

I think I got about 2 episodes in before I gave up. I can’t even keep track of the story because there are about 5 minutes of ads for other other podcasts every 5 minutes. I understand the need for ads, but this is obscene. Unlistenable.

Thank god for the skip button, you will hear the same audio over and over and over again. Even season 2 you will hear audio clips you already heard twice in season 1.

Ads are RIDICULOUS!!!! I’m sure there is 5 min of speaking and then stopping for ads that go on and on and on!!!! I’m persevering but skipping through the ads because I’m interested in this case. Next time try a different way of doing things!!!PLEASE!!!!

This podcast is very one sided, and there is a reason for that, but sometimes it can be even more effective when there is just a tad of opposition or alternative point of view. Otherwise, just fwd 26 minutes every time you start to hear ads.
