“I'm struggling with this podcast. The colonial bias is strong. The story of Pitcairn, and indeed the British and French in the Pacific, is one of brutality and inhumanity. So far, this podcast glosses over that and organises silence around it. The British cop is justifying statutory rape because it was a relationship that is mind-blowing in its thoughtlessness and ignorance.
