Welcome to a special series of episodes in honor of the VeganStrong PlantBuilt Team! I am thrilled to be joining the team this year representing vegan muscle at the Mr. America Competition in October of 2023. In honor of this team, I'll be highlighting some incredible members of the team over the next couple of weeks. My first guest is founder, Dani Taylor, the trailblazer behind the VeganStrong PlantBuilt Team, who shares her incredible journey from humble beginnings, surviving on a diet of mac 'n' cheese and hot dogs, to rebelling against her family and going vegetarian at the age of 8. As she got older, she made the final shift to veganism, which and would soon morph into a competitive vegan bodybuilder. She gives us valuable insights into her experiences as a coach and how it has shaped her skills and deepened her bond with veganism and fitness.
