Great to find this series of podcasts. I am a qualified ethnobotanist in the U.K. One thing I felt was missing from the hawthorn episode is the cyanid content in the seed of Hawthorn.. You'll have to take a lot for it to have an adverse effect but was surprised it wasn't mentioned. There is definitely a lack of educational podcasts on plants & their uses, so I am happy to have found this one. The best one in the uk is Robin Hartfords podcast, I highly recommend. Great interviewing style

For a podcast called "The Plant Report" the content is pretty human. I was hoping to hear stories about botany but all I got was boring folklore and a human-centered view of the plant world. Another lovely podcast by Jill Cloutier (if you haven’t checked out Sustainable World Radio, do that as well!). This podcast offers a great way to learn more about plants. A mini escape into the plant world, even when on a crowded subway train. 💚
